The University Museum is located in Mustamäe with access roads from Ehitajate tee and Akadeemia tee. Access by private transport and taxi is good. Disabled parking is located 35 meters from the entrance. Taxis can be reached by a certain sidewalk 10 meters away, right in front of the entrance. The nearest bus stops are called “Tehnikaülikooli”, which are located 270 m away and “Keemia”, which are located 200 and 260 m away, and may be far for people with mobility aids, especially in winter.
When coming along the sidewalk from Ehitajate tee, there is no place to get off (the curb height is about 15-20 cm at the junction of the sidewalk and the parking lot) and it is only on the sidewalk on the roundabout side, which is why people with mobility aids have to make a large circle. People with mobility aids are expected to come through the parking lot.
The disabled toilet is located in the library lobby.
The museum hall is open Mon-Fri 10am-7pm, Sat-Sun 10am-4pm.
There are no solutions that take into account the special needs of the visually impaired and hearing impaired.
