Accessibility description

The museum has lifts and an accessible toilet. All museum exhibition halls except the gallery are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair users can move freely on the basement, first and second floors, and a lift connects these floors. Access to the museum gallery by wheelchair is possible only by prior arrangement; with the museum’s permission, the goods lift located in the staff areas can also be used.

Wheelchair users can enter the museum via the ramp at the main entrance, located at the Mere puiestee end of the Rotermann Salt Storage building. In the gallery hall, the bridges connecting the galleries have 13 cm-high steps.

An audio guide is available and can be used with the induction loop function.
No accessibility solutions are provided for people with visual impairments; however, the museum’s website provides an audio description of the entrance and a brief description of the building.
