The renewed Estonian Accessibility Portal makes moving around easier for everyone!

We are pleased to announce that the Estonian accessibility Portal has received a fresh new look and is now available across all of Estonia. While the focus was previously primarily on Tallinn, information regarding public buildings, transit routes, and accessibility features is now more accessible in every corner of Estonia.

LIPS is designed to provide a detailed overview of the accessibility of our shared environment. Whether your goal is to find a building with a working elevator, a low-threshold entrance, or a suitable ramp – the updated website consolidates all necessary information in one place. The system is an indispensable assistant for people with disabilities and their companions, but also provides valuable information for the elderly, parents moving with strollers, and anyone for whom barrier-free movement is essential.

What’s New and How to Use the System?

We have refreshed the website to make finding information faster and more convenient:

  • Nationwide reach: From now on, the system is expanding across all of Estonia! This means that soon it will be possible to find accessibility information for objects in every city and village, making travel and daily activities convenient in every corner of the country.
  • Detailed Search: You can search for objects by categories (e.g., government agencies, museums, shops), target groups, and specific accessibility levels.
  • Interactive Map: All objects are displayed on a map with clear symbols, allowing you to plan your journey from point A to point B while considering disabled parking spaces, public transport stops, and pedestrian crossings.

Contribute to a Better Living Environment Yourself!

By using the “Submit Proposal” button at the top of the page, you can supplement the system yourself and help make Estonia a more accessible place for everyone.
