The Saku Municipality Government building is accessible to visitors with various special needs. Clearly marked accessible parking spaces are located in close proximity to the entrance, and an obstacle-free pathway to the building is ensured. Entry to the building is at ground level, and the door opens manually outward. Entry with an assistance (guide) dog is permitted.
Internal circulation routes within the building are sufficiently wide and level. The two-storey building is equipped with a lift that is convenient for wheelchair users and visitors with prams. The lift control buttons are visually distinguishable and positioned at an appropriate height. The lift provides floor notifications, and the control buttons are fitted with Braille.
An accessible toilet is located on the first floor of the building. It is equipped with necessary support handrails and provides sufficient manoeuvring space for wheelchair users. A baby changing table is also installed in the toilet. Door and room signage is clear and supports orientation for elderly visitors and visitors with special needs.
Free Wi Fi access is available for visitors, and charging points are provided within the building.
