Description

Theatrum was founded on December 8, 1994, by the students and faculty of the Estonian Institute of Humanities' drama department (including Lembit Peterson and Juhan Viiding), along with participants from the Old Town Educational College's theater program. It is a classical drama theater that strives to creatively build upon and develop the traditions of early Western theater.Wheelchair access to the building and hall is available through the side door located next to St. Catherine's Passage (Katariina käik); an elevator is available inside. Visitors requiring wheelchair access are kindly asked to arrive 20 minutes prior to the performance and, if possible, notify the administrator in advance at theatrum@theatrum.ee or +372 644 6889. Please note that accessible solutions for visitors with visual or hearing impairments are currently unavailable.
