| The zoo has two entrances: the North Gate on Paldiski Road and the West Gate on Ehitajate Street. There is no disabled parking. It's harder to get in through the North Gate if you have a mobility aid, since the sloped sidewalks (10-12%) are quite long. It's easier to access from the West Gate on Ehitajate Street, where the surface is gentle. Near the goats, there are a lot of open rain gutters, so be careful there. The elephant house has a suitable elevator to the 2nd floor for all mobility aids. The zoo has 2 accessible toilets: one near the elephant house and the other near the North Gate. The terrarium (6% slope) is very accessible, as is the aquarium building. There are spots in the zoo where you might need extra assistance. The big café has a ramp, but the entry is very steep. |
