The closest disabled parking to the Astra building is at the Mare teaching building, access through the courtyards is approx. 200m. Astra has several sloping surfaces, all of which have an above-standard 12-13% slope, and assistance may be required. There are 3 disabled toilets in the building, one of which is down a ramp from the lobby. The disabled toilet is large, but the pot is in the middle of the room and it is extremely narrow for an electric wheelchair, and you cannot turn around. The remaining disabled toilets are on the 2nd and 5th floors, both have a steep climb at the entrance (a 5 cm steep edge on the slope). There are elevators in the building, one of which takes you from the lobby half a floor up and from there to the other elevators.
